Alternative Prints

Cyanotypes (blue prints) and Van Dyke

prints (brown prints) are alternative processes invented in the mid 1800's in the early days of photography.  I love

experimenting with mixing up my own emulsions, spreading the liquid onto

watercolor papers and exposing the paper to the sun.  Every print is unique and unpredictable.  Mistakes often become successes.
